Elaki Restaurant

Elaki Restaurant Review

Even if you don't stay at the Mehmet Ali Aga Konagi Hotel, consider soaking up its ambience for an evening at the hotel restaurant. The seating is right beside the mansion, effectively the courtyard, and it's usually possible to have a look around. The food is more than a match for the location, eating here is a gourmet's delight, and the service five-star. The menu changes regularly, with a focus on Mediterranean and Ottoman dishes, making good use of the wild herbs of the area. The mezes are excellent, and the mixed platter recommended, as well as the smooth, light "fairy floss" like desert laced with shredded chocolate and pistachios. There is an excellent wine cellar.
