Purple House Review

This little pansiyon on an idyllic inlet is the ultimate escape from the mass tourism of the Turkish coast. Popular with Lycian-way trekkers, the facilities are rustic (think gas lamps, mountains toilets, and cold showers), but the well-restored rooms in the 200-year-old stone houses will make you feel like you've gone back a hundred years in time. Food and drinks are available, so even if you don't stay, you can take a break here for a bite and a swim—though it's best to ring ahead if you want a meal.
