The Turquoise Coast Sights

Latin Church Review

The Catholic Church maintains its presence with a small sanctuary run by Capuchin monks. It is set in a garden on Kutlu sokak, several winding blocks in from the Sermaye Mosque. Enter its small courtyard from the side street. You may recognize the image of the church bell, with the mosque minaret behind—it's on tourist office brochures as a symbol of religious harmony. Services are held Monday to Saturday at 8:30 am and 6:30 pm, Sunday at 6 pm (5 pm in winter).
