For most Turks Adana means Adana kebab, minced lamb slow charcoal-grilled on a long wide metal skewer. Everyone in Adana has an opinion on where to find the best Adana kebab, but the traditional favourite is Yüzevler, and the photos of a Turkish who's who tucking in proves that this is not your average kebab shop. Obviously, the kebabs are the star of the show, but the pide (Turkish pizza) is also good, and this is probably one of the safest places to try the famous raw ground meat Çig Köfte, literally "raw köfte"; it's "cooked" with spices.
