Habib Neccar Cami Review

The River Orontes (Asi in Turkish) divides Antioch in two. In the old town you will find the Habib Neccar Cami, a mosque on Kurtulus Caddesi, just south of St. Peter's. Parts of the building date from the 7th century, making it Turkey's oldest mosque (there was also a renovation in the 17th century). Just north is the bazaar quarter, a real change of pace: the feel here is more Syrian and Arab than Turkish.
