Booking a Local Tour

Booking a Local Tour

If you want to book a local tour—anything from boat tours to trekking tours or local special-interest tours—you're best off wandering through the center of whatever town you're in. Choose a local travel agency that looks well-kept, and chat with the owner. Don't hesitate to move politely on to another one if you feel hassled or inadequately served. You can also ask at your hotel: they're likely to recommend the agency that gives them the best commission, and they'll probably add a commission from you, too, but it can be worth the cost for convenience and reliability.
