Fethiye Museum (Fethiye Müzesi)

Fodor's Review

Fethiye has a relatively small but fairly modern museum with an excellent collection of artifacts from nearby sites, including sculptures from Tlos and the Fethiye theater, and stone sarcophagi. You'll also see the Letoon trilingual stela (a stone slab with Greek, Lycian, and Aramaic inscriptions), the mosaic from the Temple of Apollo, and a series of altars and stelae dedicated to the gods in thanks. Other displays include an interesting golden bowl with figures of bulls, a 19th-century Greek ship's figurehead, and an array of local handicrafts.
