The Turquoise Coast Sights

Fethiye Müzesi (Fethiye Müzesi)

Updated 11/21/2013

Fodor's Review

Fethiye has a relatively small but modern museum with an excellent collection of artifacts from nearby sites. There is some good sculpture, mostly from Tlos and the Fethiye theater. You'll also see the Letoon trilingual stele (a stone slab with Greek, Lycian, and Aramaic inscriptions), the mosaic from the Temple of Apollo, and a series of altars and stelae dedicated to the gods in thanks. Other displays include an interesting golden bowl with figures of bulls and a 19th-century

Greek ship's figurehead.
