Fodor's Expert Review Villa Daffodil Hotel

On the sleepy west end of Fethiye’s waterfront, this midsize, mid-priced hotel is comfy and pleasantly quirky, with a resident parrot in the lobby and compelling photographs taken by the owner, a retired general. The pool out back is a big plus. Rooms (and bathrooms) are generally small and a bit dated, though well-kept. Those on the side can be dark and stuffy, while those in front, overlooking the water, are lighter and a bit bigger. Quiet rooms facing the garden courtyard are also available.
