Tarsus

The dusty, provincial town of Tarsus is known as the place where St. Paul was born some 2,000 years ago. It has a broad range of Roman, Byzantine, and Turkish ruins, and effort is now being put into restoration. No individual site is exceptional, but taken collectively, they make Tarsus the most interesting stop between K?z Kalesi and Adana.
