Finike is a good lunch stop or jumping-off point for Arycanda and the series of less glamorous Lycian sites that dot the citrus- and vegetable-growing coastal plain. This small port town is less touristy than other coastal communities—and more friendly, helpful, and inexpensive. It's not the most exciting place to stay (most foreign visitors are yachters, docking at the marina to replenish supplies), but if you just want a decent bed for a night, it’s the best option between Olympos and Kekova. Although its yacht marina also harbors many European boats, Finike, which makes most of its money from its acres of orange trees, seems to take their presence unfussily in stride. A colorful town market is held every Sunday; be sure to get some of the famous oranges, if they're in season.
