Finike and Arycanda

Finike is a good lunch stop or jumping-off point for Arycanda and the series of less glamorous Lycian sites that dot the citrus- and vegetable-growing coastal plain. This small port town is less touristy than other coastal communities—and more friendly, helpful, and inexpensive. It's not the most exciting place to stay, but if you just want a decent bed for a night, it’s the best option between Olympos and Kekova. Although a yacht marina harbors many European boats, Finike, which makes most of its money from its acres of orange trees, seems to take their presence unfussily in its stride. A colorful town market is held every Sunday.
