Myland Nature Hotel

Halfway along main beachfront road, on left; 3rd hotel after the primary school, Çirali, Antalya, 07980, Turkey

This relaxed and friendly pansiyon is across from the water, about halfway along the beach road, and has a rather New Age vibe. The wooden cabins, each with a little porch, sit beside a central garden. It's run by Istanbul escapees, Engin (who fills the hotel with his photography) and Pinar (who teaches the morning yoga classes). The chef, from the prestigious "kitchen arts center" in Bolu, makes excellent Ottoman-inspired food. There's also a swath of beach with deck chairs and umbrellas.

PROS

  • good food
  • rental bikes available
  • complimentary yoga workshops

CONS

  • cabins are nice but not exceptional
  • just across the street, rather than directly on the beach
  • no sea views
