Fodor's Review

If James Bond came to İzmir, he'd stay here—the city's sleekest, most chic hotel, where scrupulous attention to detail paired with up-to-the-minute technology draws a grown-up crowd, from major politicians to honeymooners. The Key (pronounced "kay" as in "okay") occupies a '60s mod bank building transformed into lodgings in sophisticated contemporary style. Rooms, many overlooking the sea, have amenities ranging from walk-in showers to electric blinds, and you'll find

complimentary handmade chocolates and fresh juice on arrival. The in-house restaurant is a local favorite for high-powered business meals and special occasions (they offer Chateaubriand for two).
