Fodor's Review

The specialty of the house at this simple eatery on the boardwalk in Türkbükü is çiğ böreği, a Crimean dish brought to Turkey that consists of flat, fried pastry stuffed with ground beef, onion, and spices. Come in the morning for a Turkish breakfast by the restaurant's own little patch of beach, or any time for mantı (tiny Turkish "ravioli", stuffed with minced meat—get them fried or baked) or gözleme (Turkish savory crepes with various

fillings). The eponymous Hoca, who earned his honorfic as imam at the mosque you can see from the restaurant, presides with a smile.
