The best meats and kebabs in town in Bodrum are served in outlying Konacik, about 3 km (2 mi) from the center. Appetziers, including lahmacun (Turkish-style pizza topped with minced meat) and vegetable dishes prepared with just-picked produce from the garden are also very good. In warm weather, seating is on a terrace in front or a spacious back garden with views of the mountains and valley. The wine list is extensive.
