The best meats and kebabs in Bodrum are served in outlying Konacık, about 3 km (2 miles) from the center. Appetziers, including lahmacun (Turkish-style whisper-thin flatbread topped with spices and minced meat) and vegetable dishes are also very good; in season, they use figs and lemons from their own garden. In warm weather, seating is on a terrace in front or a spacious back garden with views of the mountains and valley. The wine list is extensive.
