Fodor's Review

An İzmir institution since the '60s, now under clockwork Swiss management, this swish business hotel is a serene place to recharge, with most rooms overlooking the Aegean or the lush gardens and outdoor pool. Rooms are modern, with wood- and leather-paneling, and a startling modern art collection enlivens the halls and grounds. The result, though, is that once inside, you might forget where you are.

Both the city of Izmir and the Swissotel Grand Efes were one of our favorite experiences in Turkey. It was a destination and hotel we would love to revisit. The rooms were
