Fodor's Review:

Just South of the Kültür Parki is the Izmir Ahmet Piristina City Archive and Museum, a 7,000-year chronicle of the city's history through colorful posters with informative descriptions in English and Turkish. The museum, housed in the old fire station, has a special section dedicated to the history of Izmir's multiple fires and its fire brigade.
