Çesme
Boat Tours
During high season, daily boat tours leave from the main harbor in Çesme and from Ilica. They cost around $15 per person, including lunch, and stop at several different islands. One of the most popular stops is Donkey Island, where dozens of donkeys will greet you upon arrival. Although a great way to explore Çesme's waters, many of the boat tours tend to play loud pop music and can sometimes be overcrowded. Benta, a smaller boat, is known for being calmer and quieter, whereas Nirvana is known as the party boat. The boats operate on a less frequent basis in the spring and fall and won't take off unless their minimum quota is filled. You can just go to the harbor and choose a tour on the day you wish to travel.
