A number of homey rooms and storefronts on both sides of narrow Kallavi Sokak are best known for specialties of the Circassian kitchen. These include the signature ficcin, a savory pastry filled with ground meat; a regional variation of manti dumplings stuffed with meat or potatoes; and "Circassian chicken," a cold spread of shredded chicken in a creamy walnut sauce. The menu, which also includes traditional Turkish mezes and a few meat dishes, changes daily, and prices are extremely reasonable.
