This small, cozy, well-run hotel is a good value and the 10 clean, well-maintained rooms are quite ample by Sultanahmet standards, as are the bathrooms. The patterned wallpaper and unique ceiling lamps add some ambience. Four rooms have small balconies and views of the Blue Mosque. Owner and manager Hakan Kocatürk is a licensed tour guide and, besides being extraordinarily friendly, conducts business professionally. Breakfast has traditionally been served in the lobby area but this space is to be turned into two more rooms, while a quiet garden is to be opened in the back. Pros: good value; intimate, homey atmosphere; very helpful staff. Cons: no elevator; rooms vary in size.
