As its name suggests, this eatery on busy Istiklal Caddesi specializes in manti, small pockets of pasta filled with ground meat—the Turkish version of ravioli. Gözleme, thin pastry shells filled with ingredients such as cheese and spinach, then cooked on huge hot plates as you watch, are also excellent; other options include tasty home-style vegetable and meat dishes, and desserts. With bare wooden tables and paper napkins, the atmosphere is simple but homey.
