On a high hill overlooking the Bosphorus, Sunset seems to be flying over the glittering lights below. In warm weather, tables are set on the garden terrace, affording diners an unforgettable view. The restaurant's interior is sleek yet laid-back; the menu hops from Turkish specialties to California steaks to Asia, and the seafood dishes, such as potato-crusted sea bass, are standouts. With the 2008 arrival of chef Hiroki Takemura, a separate Japanese menu was introduced alongside the terrific sushi bar for which Sunset Grill was already known. The extensive wine and cognac menu features rare and vintage wines and aged cognacs.
