Friendly and accommodating, Mozaik is a delightful refuge in the midst of busy Sultanahmet. In a restored old house on a quiet corner, the charming restaurant's wicker chairs and small, sun-dappled dining rooms give it the feel of a well-worn (and well-loved) bistro. In summer, seating spills out into the alleys beside the restaurant, making for a lively atmosphere. Mozaik has the same owner as Rumeli Café, but its menu is a bit more mainstream and wide-ranging, including Turkish specialties as well as pastas, schnitzel, and even a T-bone steak. There is also an extensive selection of salads.
