This hotel on a quiet backstreet is only a few minutes' walk from the major attractions of Sultanahmet and is a good budget option. It has the atmosphere of a typical Turkish pansiyon, with small but cozy rooms, and wooden floors and furniture enlivened by Turkish rugs and embroidered bedspreads. Some rooms have small balconies with a table and chairs. Bathrooms can be a bit run-down, though. An upstairs terrace looks out on the Sea of Marmara and the Blue Mosque. Pros: warm atmosphere; nice terrace. Cons: some guests report problems with showers; small rooms.
