This small, laid-back, family-run hotel is well located in Sultanahmet. The clean, bright rooms are simply decorated, with four-post beds that have embroidered canopies, and the recently renovated bathrooms are modern. Two rooms lead out to a small garden patio, while the sought-after Room 18 has a lovely sea view. Breakfast, which includes freshly baked cakes, is served on a comfy terrace with a beautiful sea view. While eating, you can even check your e-mail on one of the three laptops that are free for guests to use. Pros: extraordinarily friendly staff; excellent breakfast; lovely terrace. Cons: rooms fairly basic, lacks amenities like TVs and shampoo.
