This small, family-run hotel in an Ottoman-style building provides a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The bright, clean rooms have modern furniture, though the decor also has Turkish and period accents like brass lamps, antique mirrors, and Ottoman-era etchings; some rooms even have original tiled floors. Breakfast is served in a rustic room that opens onto a tiny courtyard; on the rooftop terrace, you can sip a glass of raki and contemplate the Marmara Sea or the nearby Blue Mosque. If you don't want twin beds, or prefer a bathtub to a shower, request these when making reservations. Pros: hotel has cozy rooms and intimate feel; good value. Cons: standard rooms a bit small.
