With the Sea of Marmara on one side and the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya on another, this open-air restaurant on top of the Armada Hotel has one of the more romantic locations in Istanbul. The view at night, with the lights of Sultanahmet's historic monuments reflecting off the sea, is especially stunning, and the food, a combination of classic Ottoman and modern Turkish dishes such as grilled lamb with eggplant puree, phyllo pie stuffed with vegetables, and a selection of seafood, holds its own against the dramatic setting.
