Though it's a bit on the pricey side, the inventive menu, along with gorgeous waterfront views and stylish industrial-chic decor—think exposed air shafts and cement walls—warrant a visit whether or not you're interested in the art at the Istanbul Modern. A sleek, rectangular wooden bar dominates the dining room, which looks out onto Istanbul's Karaköy harbor (avoid visiting when there's a huge cruise ship obscuring the view); there is also seating on the waterfront
deck. You can choose from a range of lighter fare—including a variety of pastas, salads, and pizzas—and more substantial dishes like grilled lamb loin with sauteed spinach and pan-roasted salmon with fresh asparagus.
