Owner Burak Akkok has lived in New York and Paris, and the Ansen 130 shows it. Stylish and hip, and hosting mostly adult travelers, this small all-suites hotel in a 20th-century building would not seem out of place in either of those cosmopolitan centers. The lobby, which doubles as a café and bar, is updated Art Deco in style, with two-tone wood paneling on the walls and a bar counter topped with dark brown leather. The rooms are spacious, smartly decorated, and have full kitchens. The staff, though dressed in T-shirts, are professional, friendly, and attentive. Pros: large, attractive suites; close to nightlife. Cons: staff's English is a bit limited.
