Far from fancy, this long-standing but consistently popular Konya mainstay serves standard Turkish dishes, along the lines of kebabs and meatballs, plus local specialties—the etli ekmek (flatbread topped with ground meat and spices) and firin kebabi (lamb roasted in the oven in a clay pot) are especially tasty. Service is speedy, and you can watch the activity on Mevlâna Caddesi from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
