Kirkit Pension Review

In these five converted Ottoman stone houses, the clean, mainly stone-built accommodations are decorated with carpets and Uzbek blankets; some upper-level rooms have nice views of the river, while others look out over the hotel's interior courtyard or the street. Bathrooms are ample-size but can be rather basic. The hotel serves an excellent set-menu dinner, sometimes accompanied by live folk music, which can be enjoyed outside in good weather or, in colder months, in the cozy dining room carved out of the rock. Owner Osman Diler also runs a travel agency and arranges tours for guests.
