By Car in Zürich

The A2 expressway from Basel to Zürich leads directly into the city. A1 continues east to St. Gallen. Approaching from the south and the St. Gotthard route, take A14 from Luzern (Lucerne); after a brief break of highway (E41) it feeds into A3 and approaches the city along the lake's western shore. You can take A3 all the way up from Chur in Graubünden.
