Unique Zürich Airport is Switzerland's most important airport and the 10th-busiest in the world. It's 11 km (7 mi) north of the city.

Airport Transfers
It's easy to take a Swiss Federal Railways feeder train directly from the airport to Zürich's Hauptbahnhof (main station). Tickets cost 5.80 SF one way, and trains run every 10-15 minutes, arriving in 10 minutes. Taxis cost dearly in Zürich. A ride into the center costs 50 to 60 SF and takes around 20 minutes. Most larger hotels have their own shuttles to and from the airport.

Carriers
Some 60 airlines, including American, United, and, of course, Swiss Air Lines, known as Swiss, serve the Unique Zürich Airport. You can also catch domestic and European flights out of Unique on Swiss.
