Book NowZum Storchen Review
The central location of this airy 600-year-old structure—tucked between the Fraumünster and St. Peters Kirche on the gull-studded bank of the Limmat River—is stunning. Rebuilt in 1939 and since renovated, the modern hotel is impeccable and intimately scaled. It has warmly appointed rooms, some with French windows that open over the water. Deluxe corner rooms, with views toward both river and lake, are worth fighting for, as are seats at the terrace café, where dessert is the panaromantic vista of the Altstadt.

JuicyLucy, from Victoria, BC
We stayed for several nights in July 2007 split between 2 stays. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was the best in Switzerland. The staff was over-the-top helpful and friendly (which is saying something in Switzerland). Great location as well. We stayed there during Zurichfest - parties until 3am for several nights. We found earplugs on our pillows when we checked in - nice touch!
