The hub of Bahnhofstrasse and a tram junction, this square is a great place to observe a microcosm of the local upper crust—furrowed-brow bankers striding to work while their fur-trimmed wives struggle with half a dozen bags and the dilemma of where to shop next. While you're at it, spoil your taste buds with incredible chocolate from the Sprüngli café.

There is nothing to see here - just shops and a hub for trams. Sprungli (very expensive) is a wonderful place to rest your feet at though - excellent hot chocolate and other desserts.

There are a lot of people here but, we had a lot of fun watching all of the local foot traffic!
