Internet terminals and Wi-Fi connections are becoming commonplace in hotel guest rooms and lobbies in even the smallest villages. Tourist offices have listings of storefronts where you can log on; many within easy access to their offices, rail stations, and bus transfer points (which is where you also will find most post offices). City postal centers remain open all day; village outposts close over lunch. General hours are weekdays, 8-6 and Saturday, 8-noon (closed Sunday except urban hubs). Lines are cued with an electronic numbering system so be sure to pull a ticket at the dispenser when you walk in. Mailing envelopes, packing supplies, and gift items are for sale, too.
