On a ledge above Vevey, this combination spa resort and elite conference center is set among the meadows and modest villages of Mont-Pèlerin. Breathtaking panoramic views of lake, Alps, and vineyards can be had from elegant guest rooms trimmed in marble, parquet, and brocade. The luxurious Givenchy spa has a broad treatment menu, from jet-lag relief to cosmetic pampering. La Trianon ($$$-$$$$), the fine-dining restaurant, ranks as one of the best haute tables and wine cellars in this gastronomic region. Not to fear, the calorie-conscious are accommodated in all dining venues.
