Despite its hideous 1960s exterior, this hotel has a surprisingly elegant interior, with stone walls, wood floors, and artistic tilework. Though few of its windows look onto the Matterhorn, its position directly on the main street puts you in the heart of town. The Arvenstube restaurant is based around a central fountain; an old-fashioned pinte draws locals for its low-price lunches, snacks, and Valaisan cheese dishes. The popular T-Bar disco is always packed, and
its bar is a cozy fireside retreat. Half-board arrangements are available.
