Schiff Review
Dwarfed by the massive Park Hotel across the street, the Hotel Schiff shares much of the same view for a fraction of the cost. It offers inexpensive, down-to-earth rooms with shared bathrooms in a traditional building identifiable by the sign made from a red and white ship's prow. The vine-trellised terrace restaurant, with views of the lake and the mountains, serves good-value fish dishes, traditional ice-cream desserts, and a very decent pint.
