As a break from all those sports, the town offers relaxation at the Medizinisches Therapiezentrum Heilbad. The local mineral springs have been known for more than 3,000 years; in 1535 the physician and alchemist Paracelsus praised the water, which is the richest in iron and carbonic acid in Europe. Massages and most treatments are done in individual cabins with private baths. Peat baths and packs need a doctor's prescription, but you can take a mineral bath anytime; try
one with natural aromas such as pine or rosemary (40 SF) or relax with a glass of Prosecco (44 SF).
