Engiadina

At a Glance

    Pros

  • enchanting location
  • service with a smile
  • delicious food

    Cons

  • Scuol is built on the mountainside, and the Old Town is near the valley bottom, so it's a bit of a hike into town

Engiadina Review

This typical 16th-century Engadine house is located in the heart of Schuol's Old Town and has inviting rooms decorated with Swiss pine, carved ceilings, and exposed beams in beige tones brightened with reds or blues. A second house, with five rooms, has a more updated Alpine-chic style with wooden floors and bold, modern furniture. The restaurant (closed Sunday and Monday in low season) has a welcoming, country feel, with light wood, blue linens, and cushions.
