Good things come in small packages here—guest rooms are petite but attractive, and there are several on-site eateries serving everything from tapas to more complicated Swiss dishes. The lounge area has a fireplace and leads out to a summer terrace with its own warming fire pit. The simple but bright restaurant (closed on Wednesday in summer) serves modern twists on traditional European and Swiss dishes. If tapas are more your style, head across the road to the It's Bar—open late. In winter many retreat to the Walserhaus, a chalet built around 1740 that offers delicious traditional cheese and meat dishes.
