Arosa, Davos, and Lenzerheide-Valbella offer special hiking packages. You can walk from Davos to Arosa one day and from Arosa to Lenzerheide the next. No need to worry about booking a hotel or transporting your luggage, as it's all taken care of. A seven-day program lets you spend more time in each resort. Contact local tourist offices or the regional tourist office, Graubünden Holidays. Similar arrangements can be made in the Engadine; call Engadin Ferien for information.

The Arosa tourist office offers guided tours and nature walks daily from June through October; you can visit a cheese maker, a regional museum, and a 15th-century chapel. The Davos and Klosters tourist offices arrange guided walks at least once a week from July to September. The Chur tourist office arranges guided tours from April to October every Wednesday at 2:30. To explore on your own, pick up a map from the tourist office and follow the green and red footprints on the pavement. The Pontresina tourist office offers guided walking tours of its Old Town from mid-June to mid-October. It also offers guided botanical excursions, glacier treks, and hiking trips to the Swiss National Park, plus mushroom-picking outings in season (usually August and September). If you are staying in Pontresina, these trips are free; day visitors pay a small fee. Guides for all of the above tours speak English.
