The Compagnie Générale de Navigation operates steamship connections between Geneva and lake towns in Vaud and France. Swiss Pass holders travel free; those with a Swiss Boat Pass pay half price. Smaller-scale lake travel, including a shuttle service across Geneva's harbor, is entrusted to the Mouettes Genevoises.
