Wireless Internet access is common in Geneva; free wireless access is rare. Internet cafés are scarce and usually shoehorned into a larger (shop) context, but always crowded. They charge about 2 SF per 15 minutes online and may close well before midnight. Post offices open and close about an hour earlier than shops do; smaller branches may close for lunch or before noon on Saturday. The Swiss Post Web site lists individual branch opening hours. Take a ticket when you enter and wait (usually less than five minutes) for your number to be called; postcards, stationery, and packing materials are sold on-site.
