The Compagnie Générale de Navigation operates steamship connections between Geneva and Nyon, Lausanne, Vevey, Montreux, and assorted smaller lake towns in Switzerland, as well as Yvoire, Thonon-les-Bains, and Evian-les-Bains, in France. Swiss Pass holders travel free; those with a Swiss Boat Pass pay half price. Smaller-scale lake travel, including a shuttle service across Geneva's harbor, is entrusted to the Mouettes Genevoises; the M1-4 lines are covered by the standard 3 SF city-bus fare.
