Fodor's Review

Old photos of Geneva show scores of black masts and graceful, cream-colored sails crowding the lake. Now La Neptune is one of only four authentic traditional barges still in existence. Built in 1904 and restored twice, in 1976 and 2005, she hauled stone and sand between far-flung construction sites until 1968. Today, it can be hired out for day sails.
