Rive Droite (Right Bank)

Clustered around a central downtown area (Centre Ville) that includes Cornavin, the main train station, are the business, shopping, and mixed-market residential areas of St. Gervais and Les Pâquis. Both neighborhoods boast waterfronts and a host of across-the-range lodgings (including most of Geneva's five-star hotels) and eateries. To the north, about 10 minutes from the train station by tram, is the International Area, home to the UN's European headquarters and other international organizations.
