Rooftop views of Lake Geneva, bright yellow-and-blue rooms, tile baths, impeccable upkeep, and a graceful Louis-Philippe-style breakfast salon put this family-run former foyer pour dames (ladies' boarding house) on a par with much pricier hotels. Large doubles connect to form "suites" for parents and children, the communal kitchen has a fridge with lockers, the whole hotel is off limits to smokers, and place du Bourg-de-Four is right up the hill.
